Sweet Potato and Avocado Toast

Most of us have heard of eating Local, Organic and Seasonal produce which helps support our overall health and wellbeing. Eating the Ayurvedic way in harmony with our doshic type (Vata, Pitta or Kapha) is another way to really support our overall health and vitality too!

As we transition in the Northern Hemisphere into Autumn these delicious and nutritious sweet potato (especially great for Vata types as we begin to transition into the cooler seasons) and avocado toasts, topped with organic almond and garlic cream cheese, organic tomatoes and basil are a great way to pack in those vitamins and minerals and they make for a great plant based lunch, that will help maintain your blood sugar levels and keep you sustained for the afternoon.

You can also get creative and work with your doshic type and go sweet or savoury or switch up for breakfast/brunch too. The beauty is for a quick lunch and to save time you can prep the sweet potato the day before and refrigerate until required.


  • Sweet Potato
  • Organic Almond and Garlic Cream Cheese
  • Organic Avocado
  • Organic Tomatoes
  • Organic Basil


  • Cut the sweet potato in half and bake in the oven on 180degrees for approx 20mins (leave to cool and place in the fridge until required).
  • Place sweet potato in the toaster and warm through
  • Add toppings of your choice
